Bryan and John were perfect in their ability to find us fish and provide a real positive experience for our group. We were impressed that they stayed with us until 1030 pm. They were always positive and were flexible in showing us a variety of fish to catch which included tuna, bottom fish including halibut and crabs. Thumbs up!!!!!!!

At first it was slow, we moved three times. The third move we couldn’t keep the fish off the hooks it was the best time fishing ever!

Great trip. Lots if fun. Caught lots if fish and crab even when other boats were having problems. Took home limits of blacks and at least one lincgod each. Also ended up with a limit of crab x5. Will definitely be going again.

What a great experience we had with Patriot fishing. This was my daughters first time bottom fishing and you guys made great accommodations to make her comfortable and have a great time. The captain and deckhand were extremely attentive about safety and making sure that we came home with fish and crab. The boat and gear used were top notch and we loved the amount of time we got on the water. Other chargers will rush or cut the day short but you guys made sure we ended with a full day experience.

Had two awesome salmon fishing trips with Bryan and Jon. Both of them are professional and dedicated to catching you fish and crab. Bryan and Jon went above anything that I was expecting. Not only did they go scout for fish a day prior to my trip on their own dime, but they also went to three different stores to make sure we had bait for salmon fishing the next day. Jon's crab pots are American made with American steel and they slew the crabs with up to 14 keepers in a single pot on my trip. Make sure you have plenty of coolers when fishing with these guys because they know how to catch fish. I've never seen a more dedicated team with the goal and determination of catching their clients fish. I'm looking forward to fishing with these guys again.

Had a great time. We fished, crabbed, and were able to see a lot of sea life. I'm a retired army ranger, so the banter back and forth was awesome. He didn't charge me anything but i did help out and tip the deck boss. Gas has a price and so does the gear we lost. Super trip hope to do it again!!!

We went salmon fishing/crabbing. I have never been fishing in my life, let alone deepsea fishing. Brian and Mike were so gracious and wonderful. They let me take the first bite and kept this 71-year-old woman from falling over while reeling in the fish. It was a fabulous experience. We saw so many whales up close, too—much better than whale-watching trips we’ve been on. Thank you so much for an outstanding fishing trip.

Thank you, Captain Brian, for a wonderful fishing trip on March 4, 2024. I so enjoyed our herring trip even with the snow and cold weather. Most people wouldn't have gone out. You were there to make the trip a wonderful experience as well as being able to go home with a 5-gallon bucket full of herring. Your love for fishing and people really shows. I always appreciate being around people that have great skills and abilities in fishing, and you're that person. I so appreciate your love for the veterans and all you do for them. Whenever I have a chance to go on a guided boat, your Patriot boat is the one I'll be on. Your fishing trips always surpass my expectations. Thank you, Brian. I'll be back.

Have been on many charters before this was by far the best, spent the day tuna fishing had a blast and landed 34 tuna could not have ask for a better captain and crew they really want to get you on the fish we will fish with them again thanks

The Salmon trip we took with Patriot was awesome! these guys LOVE to fish. This is the only guide that I have ever gone with that did not sit and look at what time they had to be back THEY WANTED TO KEEP FISHING. Everyone on the boat caught fish and all had multiple hook ups, Bryan and Jon are true professionals in their craft and I can't wait to return for Tuna fishing- If you are reading this and on the fence about getting a trip booked- just do it, you will not be disappointed- A+

I went out in the summer of 2021 for Salmon, Rockfish, and Crab. The crew knew where the fish were at and the experience was an amazing one. The knowledge is exceptional and they want to share. Sometimes its just not about the fish but thr conversations and stories. You will walk away from the trip with stories, fish, and plenty of joy.

Bryan went out of his way to accommodate my father (who is a disabled vet with mobility issues) and I on a very successful Halibut trip in 2021. If you're a veteran, definitely support this guide!

Went out halibut fishing. Had a great trip, crew was great. We limited out and was back on shore. They worked hard to get decent catch for everyone on board. I would recommend these guys to anyone.

The best time I've had in quite awhile health issues and corona virus have had me down, this trip really lifted my spirits. 1 1/2 hour boat ride 5 minutes later a triple on 4 halibut poles, 48, 46, 40. Well lets fish for tuna, on our way back, but I don't like tina, ok salmon, a 11 and13 lbs. coho. Lets go check the crab pots we had 6 only needed 5 limited out. A full days worth of fishing in half a day.

Best rock fishing trip EVER!! Captain and crew were all awesome. Ocean was great, no wind. We all limited out on rock fish. Great Captain. I will definitely be back.

When noone else at the port seemed to have had a successful day of fishing, we did! We got back and heard many stories of the small fish everyone who managed to find something brought in and we were making them all jealous with a barrel full of crabs and the wheelbarrow of hallibut. These guys knew many locations and really went out of the way to help us bring home the catch of the day. Our group maxed out on everything we had tags for and then some. Their equipment was all in excellent shape and the sights were amazing -shark, sea lions, whales all unexpected but everything one could ask for when out to sea.

Tuna…..second tuna trip. Which will now be annual event. Last year 24 tuna. This year 34 and believ me. That’s all you need. Had a great time, with John so busy he didn’t have time for a cigarette. Polesgoimg off, laughing, having a great time. 2nd best trip of my life, first was last years tuna trip, difference, last year water like glass, saw orcas, sharks, dolphins, all sorts of marine life, a trip you’ll remember for the rest of your life. First time for all of us tuna fishing in 2020. Followed a plan and we killed them. Everyone in the boat caught more than 6 tuna, Limited in crab. Captain and John the first mate worked well together insuring that we caught fish and enjoyed ourselves doing it. Stayed out several hours longer because “how do you leave a bite’ and that’s how the whole trip was. This is a class act recommend them to everyone. Mahalo guys. I had a great time

Captain and deckhand are by far the best I have ever fished with! If you want to go out have a good time and bring in the meat go no further. I loved fishing with Patriot Charters and will always us them for any trip out of Newport and you should as well.
